Geoff Hawkes’ career as an entrepreneur began in London as a partner in a prominent interior design business that showcased fine furniture. In 2003, he founded the Rochdale Spears Company, and shortly after, incorporated the Rochdale Spears Group, a vertically-integrated global design, manufacturing and distribution enterprise providing high-quality furniture and accessories.

Under the stewardship of Geoff Hawkes, The Group has experienced exponential growth, launching a distribution arm, Resource Decor, in 2014, followed by SONDER living, a shop-in-shop retail concept, and Projects by Resource Decor, its hospitality division, in 2016
